hey guys. does any one know why the tyre life in gt5 appears to be odd regarding soft tyres lasting longer than mediums etc ?
an example is on suzuka using medium racing tyres i'm able to get >13 laps of life from a set of tyres when using the autobacs nsx. using the same track & car (no tuning alterations) a set of hard racing tyres only last >8 laps. i haven't attempted the comparison with soft racing tyres but i'm positive they'd last over 20 laps.
seems incredibly odd to me that the in-game description would indicate the harder the tyre the greater the tyre life but in practice it simply isn't.
