is it Me or do the tyres get better grip after a lap? feels so, and can it be temperature that does that? cold tyres are more slippery if that is the reason i feel the grip is much better after one lap.

Yes, they do get stickier as they get warmer therefore increasing grip.

try drift, they get so warm they explode (you can even see the bits flying)

Really? Dand I havent had that happen yet. I also didnt see a way to turn on the tire temperature? I noticed that the more I drift, the worse the tires get. So there must be a temperature gauge somewhere?

You can see tire temperatures (in,middle,out ) in one of the telemetry boards.

Use d-pad left to change views until telemetry appear then use right button on d-pad to change telemetry views.

You can only see the tire blow and shred in replay mode (manual fwd/rev)

Keep the tires "red" for a bit and listen... You can also tell by the sparks rims's cause when you accelerate (if using outside view)

Nice. The only other game I have seen actually blow tires on a console was GTA4.

I notice at start the cars in front of me, their tires has kind of marks like new tires have or is it something else? And i just have to try to blow a tyre ...great! And i really love the detail when coming on the road from gravel/grass the marks/dirt it leaves on the track..such a great detail!
