Tyres in Arcade mode

Hi everyone! I have two questions:

1) When I start a wet race in Arcade mode, I can't start with intermediate or rain tyres... why? It's only my problem or anyone has this problem too?
2) In Arcade mode when I start a race with professional difficulty the game freezes 2/3 of the time... anyone has the same problems?
 
1) What do you mean? The game doesn't set up the tires by default?
2) Not that I have seen before. Can you describe the occurrence?
 
1) Are you using a car in the "favorites" tab? If so you may have to purchase racing tires for that specific car in GT Life mode. I haven't had trouble selecting rain tires using a "arcade only" or "favorite" car that I know I had already purchased racing tires for.
2) I don't play too much in arcade mode but I haven't seen a freeze
 
Thank you very uch for your support. :) However, so I have to buy the racing tyres for my favorite cars to use the rain tyres... uhm sounds strange...
2) The game starts loading the race, the loading bar still goes very slowly but the game never load the race even if the bar is full...
(Sorry for my English, I'm Italian...)
 
Yes, your favorites are cars you are bringing over from GT Life just as they are in the GT Life garage. That includes all upgrades you add to the cars. So if it is a car that doesn't come with racing tires by default you wont get the rain tires until you purchase a set for that car.
As for the loading trouble, did you do the install for GT5 to the hard drive? Might want to try going to the options screen and removing the install and seeing if the loading improves.
 
Having the same problem in arcade mode. A few laps into the race the screen locks up and I have to reset my system. I hope they patch this problem!
