Sorry if this thought has been mentioned "the way I see it" before, did quick search wasnt satisfied with what I saw, anyhow....

For those cars that come in different paint patterns such as the LM Race Cars like the RX-LM or FTO Super Touring, I would appreciate the option to purchase the other colored models at the same time using the same screen thats used during purchase of ie. desired vehicle.... it would be similar to a reccommendation option, and/or similar cars option.

The benefit to this is when seeking cars that cannot be custom painted like the racers, you buy one, have option to buy the others without waiting X amount of days for same car different color.

Maybe even make it logically to the point of when you buy a car but want a dfferent paint scheme and/or numbered model, since it wouldnt be the original car that was in stock that you intended to buy, there would be a set delivery date for you to go pick it up in your delivery truck. Since real world dealerships dont carry every car that would be the way to implement it IMO.

Thoughts, links to the same thing im sounding off about?

When I go to a used car dealer down the street, I can't turn a car on the lot into a different colour ;).

I do agree it'd be very handy (especially for those who never played GT4 and aren't too sure of what options are out there for the UCD), but I imagine it goes against the idea of it being a shuffling lineup of "used" cars that PD seems to have in mind. It'd be nice to get a return to the Arcade Mode structure of GT4, so a car owned in GT Mode was unlocked in stock, 0 mile status in Arcade, with all colour options available, to both give people an idea of what they're looking for, and greatly expand Arcade Mode (something that would be very beneficial for online racing time trialing, anyways).

Yeah I'm with you on this response. The whole point of the UCD is to replicate goin into a UCD in RL and buying someone else's previous ride. You can't tell the dealer to go paint it for you because you don't like the colour. You just have to be patient if you want that special colour OR paint it yourself.
