UCD change timing?

I was under the impression that the UCD updated 6 cars every day at midnight.

Ive just started a new account and noticed that in the UCD there was a Nissan r390 road car which I want but was 998,000cr. With the new account I got a freebie Toyota 86 GT'12. There are a number of Seasonal events in which you can use this car to generate a lot of money so in about 40 mins I had 1.2 mil in the bank. Off I went to the UCD to get the Nissan but when I opened it, it had gone and the UCD seened to have moved on about 12 cars, what I thought was 2 days worth. I did notice that by the end of the 40 min session I had gone up to level 16, could that be something to do with it?
 
The UCD refreshes 6 cars per race regardless of the time of day :)

When you do a seasonal race, check the UCD afterwards. If you do an A-Spec race, check the UCD afterwards. If you do an A-Spec series (linked races), make sure the UCD is fully bought out before hand, or that there is nothing you want in it before you start it :)

It doesn't work with time trials though for some reason.
