UCD freezing

I know freezing has been covered in other threads but I haven't found anything specific to help me on this issue.
When I enter the UCD specific cars will cause my game to freeze.
Such as the BP Falken RX-7, and the Bentley Speed 8 Race car.
Now even certain cars in the premium dealership are doing it.
Also after finally reaching level 30, The X1 Challenge is stuck on the loading screen.

Is this do to my PS3, of the game itself?
Keep in mind this is a newer PS3 and all my other games are working properly.

I've never experienced this problem before.

Could be something to do with your game data.
 
That's what I was thinking, Just the fact that these cars didn't freeze my game before, and now they do, scares me.

Out of curiosity, sign out of the playstation network and see if that "helps" with your issue.. I've noticed that playing "off line" seems to make my game run quite a bit smoother at times.. Had some similar issues at one point, even uninstalled and reinstalled my game data with no fix... But signing out of the playstation network seemed/seems to be the only "fix" for me regarding this kind of issue... Cheers.
 
Yeah, I've tried that :\ didn't work.
 
Try creating a new user account on your PS3 and start a new game to check if the same problem persists. If not, the problem is most likely with the GT5 game data, so you can delete it all and reinstall it.

Make sure to backup your save game just in case.
