UCD High Mileage car - Engine Knock?

So I purchased a 70 r/t charger today from the UCD, and got the high mileage trophy (im lvl 28 a, 29 b) and when i selected yes to use the car on startup the motor was knocking something fierce...220,000 km on the clock.

I engine overhauled, exited the car and re-entered to hear it startup again and its sounding meaty once more!

anyone else notice this with a car with high mileage?

yet another thing GT5 amazes me on, the small details! ...yet they missed some big ones

I noticed this when I was also getting that trophy. I think it was an old convertible corvette. Start up sound was really strange.

But I never overhauled the engine to see if it changed, as I didn't want the car.

The recordings of engine starts are all taken from the car themselves, so it's probably an issue with the original car used rather than your car. If you see what I mean.

I noticed one of the songs starts with a thunking noise which is otherwise quiet and when it plays I tend to think the car is thunking...

I've heard this as well, i thought it was odd for an FGT to be thunking.
Theres also one that i'm certain has the race start sound in it. Very odd hearing the startin noise when hotlapping online.
