UCD: Not random at all!...maybe a little bit

Im one of those greedy impatient people. I setup 4 accounts to reap the benefits of the seasonal challenges for obvious reasons.

I thought the UCD was completely random, but it seems it might not be.
All 4 accounts are at the same exact level (24)
I played exactly the same seasonal challenges in each.

Checked each UCD after i was done. Each one had a zonda LM, Fairlady LM among others. pretty much the same cars. I took a pic of one of the UCDs. you can see exactly where my level is (halfway thru 24) and the cars available.

To me, this is evidence the UCD is not completely random. (There is a spyker C8 missing in this ucd (pic) it was there earlier and was present in the other 3 UCDs)

Although this isnt that big of a deal, its still some interesting info.
If someone reading this has yet to reach level 24, you could confirm whether this is universally true.

I own 4 zonda LMs now, one of my fave cars, setup all with different tunings :) ranging from 645hp to 860 :) Got all in one day! exciting for me!

SB, I have a theory, thought I'd run it past you. In GT4, they had the four black cars that cycled through once every 700 days, and they were present during days 696-700, or something like that. If you missed them the first time around, all you had to do was catch them at day 1396-1400.

Is it possible that every car has a 'cycle time', where some cars repeat every 300 days, some repeat every 800 days, or whatever? The total inventory may never be identical because of the cars' different cycles, but every car might go through over and over in its own repeating pattern.

Thoughts?

There is definitely a repeating pattern. and its definitely possible it works like ur saying. I thought it was completely random until i saw this for myself. Khaddar has posted up a good link explaining how this ucd business works. I shoulda done a search. was excited about my new discovery!

after reading thru the first few pages of this thread, i see that even these guys arnt sure about how the pattern works. Im a little confused. Maybe the ucd just starts off randomly for each individual ps3.

anyway, i guess a mod can close this thread up, the subjects been covered before.

from what's been gathered so far, it starting to look like there is 2 master car lists. what list you are in and where you start in the list appears to be random but it is tied to your ps3, not the game disc
