What UDP and TCP ports does Gran Turismo 5 Prologue use? If you don't know what I am talking about when it comes to firewalls, ports, and networking, please don't bother posting here. P.S. I did a search and I found nothing on UDP and TCP port configuration details. Thank you.

Has your router got UnPnP? If it has, enable that (on your router and your PS3), and worry about something else... :)

Otherwise, check out the news section in the game, there should be two or three messages there regarding just this. 👍

Is giving me the list of ports too hard for you? "Oh yeah just hook up your PS3 directly to the cable modem! DURRRRRRRRRRRRR!" or "Just turn your firewall off or use UPnP universal plug and play and so that way when your ps3 requests a port, it opens it, so if a hacker cracks into your network and tells your ps3 to ask for 6881-6889 bittorrent ports, then your ps3 is now officially a zombie ps3." No thanks. I don't want UPnP, I use port forwarding. Lots of hackers out there. Also that link you gave me, the port information was posted by a noob. I would prefer recieving the port numbers from a moderator or a developer. Thank you. If its over 20 ports, I am not doing it.

Lose the atitude, before you lose your account.

And if you got over you're paranoia and followed the link in the thread you were pointed to.

You'd end up there

I love you. Thank you! :sly: You are the best! I am so happy that you did that! And not only did you get me the port listings, you gave it to me from the offcial website and not only that, but you are very kind, and not only that, your awesome! PEACE!

Which is the same site that was in the post that I linked to....

Well I didn't see that. You could have just gave me the direct link instead of linking me to a link to a link.

Instead of spitting insults and pointing fingers at everyone else, you could have just looked looked into the link daan posted. Instead you want everything spoon fed to you. The information was given TWICE, you failed to see it (until someone waved a big sign in front of your face), and then try and turn it around like it's daan's fault for not posting it clear enough. You are on thin ice as it is, and for the love of all that's holy, stop posting so many new threads. We have to deal with it all, and just taking care of your threads is pushing us all into over time. Cool it bud.

I think this thread has served it's purpose.

;)

I linked you to a post that would have came up if you had used the search properly.

If you had read the post, you would have found the link. It was the bit of underlined text that said gran-turismo.com 💡
