Wow, did I have a packed week! Camp Kirkmont RULES, btw. LOL!
Allow me to elaborate on the title of this thread: One of the evening activities (I think it was on tues.) was called the gross and messy games. (Sounds terrible already, huh?) Well, my tent was sent to our station, and the guy told us to sit down on the ground, hold out our hands, and close our eyes. We did as he asked. Then he puts something in each of our hands. then he says: "Open your eyes and eat." To my horror, there, in my hand, sat the biggest four chunks of onion I had ever seen. Everyone was telling me to hurry up and eat it, that we were running out of time, so I shut my eyes and started chewing. (Now, let it be known that I had never eaten a raw onion before) DANG, DID IT BURN! My stomach was upset for the next two freaking days!
So we go to our next station. Guess what we had to do there? "Now your tent had to eat three cloves of garlic."
No, I didn't eat the garlic, (Lucky I didn't...) If I had, I would have tossed up the burning ball of onion already in my belly.
The games went on as such. The only one that was as bad as the first two was when a raw egg was put into a tube and a tentmate and I had to blow into the tube from oppostie ends. (eww, eww, eww, eww, EWW!) Otherwise, it was so much fun. We slip 'n slided with a whole lot of detergent, we played Twister with oil all over it, and criscoed one of my tentmates hair. We had Jelly covered marshmallows dropped into our mouths (As if any made it in...), ate icing off of plates with no hands, and pushed cherries through chocolate sauce with our noses. Let me tell you, we could hear the 'Coons all the way from our tent that night! They were busy eating the peanut butter that was left over from one of the other stations where I had to lick it off one on my tentmate's face. (Now that was interesting...)
A few of the other "random" things that happened ranged from "Pelvic Thrusts" that drummers preform, to the streaker we had on Friday night. Anyway, all in all, it was an awesome time.
(Oh, and btw, this all happened at a church camp.
