Uh......New years glitch?

Ok, well after popping the cork and what not (Happy New year BTW)
i hopped on the PS2 to get my first win in 2002 ^_^

everything starts up fine but then when i look at my credits and what not. I'm not driving my supra....but the concept Viper.... :eek:

i shoot to the garage and i still have my cars but like 3 more. and all my races have Gold trophys and what not. i got the super, when i left with the A.... i have 16,367,479 credits but all my rimz i brought are now gone......Please tell me i hit the lotto in the game or something or maybe someone else had this problem? i mean this is nuts!!! WTF happened?! HELP!!
 
I guess you just hit the jackpot cuz I still have my 51 sucking cars and my lousy 967.259 credits :D

Same boat - I looked and the wretched Pagani races and the Complex String Time Trial weren't done, so no luck...

it just sucked the fun out of it, cause i wanted to finish ALL the races by my self.....guess i'll just start over....

That's really bizzar man. Hey, maybe someone saved over your memory card. You also might want to check with Sony, maybe someone else has reported a similar problem.

ye well i woke up and now the X button doesnt work properly anymore. I cant just press it lightly like i used to i have to push it really hard now

same thing happend to my L1 button a week ago.... but it somehow it fixed itself. :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
my X button works, but sometimes l have to press real hard on it because it doesn't accelerate, but this only happens in GT3 for me.
 
i havent tried it in any other games but i didnt notice it in Fifa 2002 or any other game before hand. And i noticed it first race on GT3
 
this is so strange. my L2 button was really unresponsive. however this appeared to have fixed itself. sony must be experimenting with some alien technology that's screwing up our PS2's. conspiracy theories anyone? i heard rumors that the new batch of GT3 games have an automatic driver update utility that will disable all mod'ed PS2's.
