UK GT5 save on US GT5 disk

Hello :)

Anyone know if My current UK gt5 save will work on US gt5 disk, need to change to be able to get the DLC.

Made a mistake by getting UK gt5 on my American account and am not planning to switch account or re play the game just for DLC.

It won't work. You should wait for december, then create a UK account, download it from that one, and it should work on your US account then.

how is it going to work?
 
If you arent swapping PSn accounts, it should be fine. I asked the same question a couple of months ago when i upgraded from a standard to a collectors edition.

Yeah am keeping my US PSN account which has all my trophies, so I should be fine moving from UK disk to US disk with same PSN account?

I don't want to confuse u but my UK is collectors edition while am getting US for DLC, do u think the chrome cars will disappear?

The save data is disc region locked, it has to be the same region disc, even if it's on the same PSN account. It was discussed here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=228568

I remebered what most of the posts on my thread were exactly what i said, except the last (and most detailed post), which expained about the region issue.

I think a thread about the disc/region/save issue should stick somewhere, it would help a lot of people

i don't want to start gt5 again :(
