UK model railway help needed!

Hi, i have been starting a model railway of Preston station and i need help. I need top install Catenary, and i have looked into Sommerfeldt catenary which was featured in Model Rail. But i need some help in the sizes in the type of catenary in the picture in the bottom part.

Second, i also need help and any information on overhead signalling like in the picture below.

I am modelling the UK so i don't really want any oversea supplies apart from Sommerfeldt whcih i can get them from www.dckits.co.uk.

Lastly, i am modelling 2003, so i can include the old and new Virgin train livery, so i am loking for a class 87 in virgin livery, i am aware about the Hornby class 86, but i also no that Lima do a Class 87 in Virigion livery. Does anyone no about where i could find info on this model?

Uhm...I model North America....Sorry!

What scale? OO/HO?

I'd reccommend you go to www.trains.com, which is run by Kalmbach, the Publishers of "Model Railroader". these guys can help you with your scenery, even though their focus in on North American Railroading.

Also, you could always paint a Class 87 other than Lima's into "Virgin" Livery.

I do have a Hornby "Flying Scotsman" from 1969, which I plan on converting to a North American locomotive. I also have a Bachmann Royal Scot, a 1986 model, and a new "James" from Thomas the Tank Engine. the rest is American prototypes.
 
the scale is 00 and there isn't a lot of class 87's about! only lima make them in 00 but you can get them in N scale but its half the scale so no. I also am looking for a class 90 in virgin livery as well.
