Does anyone know how to get bigger captured pics in Ulead 8?
I was also wondering how to get better quality captured pics. It seems like my Ulead 8 used to take really detailed pics but lately after we recovered our comp, it seems to be taking poor pics. Any hints?
Here is an old pic with decent quality.

And here is a recent pic with poor quality.

The tab specifies the duration of your captured footage, the source material, the format, the capture folder (where you want the video to be captured), and an options tab, which enables you to perform such functions as adjust the video and audio capture settings, change capture plug-in, and select device control. The next window enables you to choose a style template for your video. The styles include Nature, Slideshow, Celebration, Slideshow (duotone), Sports, Old Film, School, Newborn, travel, Vacation, Birthday, Christmas, Romantic, and Wedding. For example, when you select wedding, the software puts in a generic title, "Our Wedding" along with a musical piece, plays the video that you selected or captured, and ends with "And they lived happily ever after".
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for or if it will help at all, but it should be a start. I am guessing that when you recovered the computer, the setting probably went to default for ulead8? Then again, I might be wrong.

I will try that out. Im not sure what happened. The old Ulead used to work perfect even when I first DL it. I messed with this for about an hour and im just not sure what is wrong. Ive never had a problem with it before.
I forgot to post more information about what my capture device is.
1. Dazzle running with the s-video instead of RCA cables
2. Ulead 8

I messed with this again last night and I figured out what was wrong. Somehow Ulead must read from the Pinnacle file that comes with the Dazzle in order to work. I had to make it read the pinnacle sound files that somehow didnt get installed. I just reinstalled the Pinnacle disk and now it has sound and is taking good pics again. I am going to mess with it to see how to get even better pics.
