I wonder, how good a game would be if a bunch of makers for driving games all got together and made one ultimate game, all with their own signature bit, for example.
GT5 - driving physics.
F2010 - F1 stuff, races tracks cars etc dating back several decades.
NFS - Mods and livery editing, drifting, drag racing, wheelie thing they did and cops.
Dirt -Rally stuff, tracks, cars etc again dating back decades I.E the group B cars and dirt buggies and things like that.
Colin mcrae- that small side by side racing thing, like race of champions.
Test drive - Free roam, cops, missons ( like delivery etc)
Toca racer - Group racing (LMP1, LMP2, GT1 and so on racing at the same time)
A nascar game? for nascar obviously.
And other games that has the best damage modelling, most major race tracks. famous roads, and team racing where the positions of the whole team gives the positions in the final count.
And of course, the cars, having 10 or so of each racing series of every year like 10 F1 cars of 2011, and 2010 and so on, same with slower version of f1 (formula 3 or something like that?) same with rally, 10 group bs, 10 wrc each year. again for LMP and racing cars and that ( DTM, touring, super GT etc) with at least 10 diff cars for every year. Then with production cars at least 200 popular cars of each decade, available with lots of parts (NFS).
Also to have races like the race of champions, to determine driver skills of people online, people could challenge each other to move up a leaderboard?
Also the availability to have highly customisable championships online, like group racing online, where the results is stored online and people could check it, and also to be able to have group racing with 1 car, but lots of drivers I.E endurance races for example.
Also to include that drift timing thing (gymaynaka or something that spells like that? lol)
And to have Proper top gear challenges, like racing a train across country or something.
Also have tracks and races where landing control after a jump is required alot, stunt driving etc.
And of course AI that can actually think decently to give a challenge, not pushovers, you play dirty, they will play dirty, but depending on the hot/coolness of the driver, like in real life, some drivers will react badly to it, some wont.
This would be near a perfect racing game for me, I wouldn't know what else i could add.
