Explanation: Take your first car (however you got it, whether bought used, won, or bought with the $100K GT3 transfer) and take a picture of it (duh! ) It does not have to be the same exact car, just the same kind of car.

I just realized something though...according to the rules - the shot of Buick Special and the RX-7 are ineligible as they were taken with Phototravel locations, and the rules said:

I didn't notice before. If it had been allowed, I would have chosen a different shot...


So, perhaps Irons and tankuroded could say what their votes would have been, from the other shots. Because it's too late to change it now.

Irons gave the Elise one more vote, which means it breaks the tie breaker.

I don't exactly think that's fair. You see, they voted for the invalid shots, which they thought were the best. I don't think that second choices should count, to me that is the equivalent of a tiebreak poll. But, that is just my opinion, so I will wait for a more experienced person (*cough*Luis*cough) to come in and set us straight.

I'm totally of your opinion. Those two persons voted for invalid shots and a second vote shouldn't count. A tie breaker poll should clear this all up. The two persons can then vote for one of the two shots (Along with all other users, of course).

Luke and Nenad @ Not everyone has to vote again. Only those two people, who voted for invalid pictures. What SVX asked them was to vote what should have they voted if those two pictures hadn't been there in the first place. I see no problem at all. Whether the pictures are there or not shouldn't inflict at all in the final vote of those who didn't vote for them.

If they hadn't vote in the first place, or had voted for other pictures instead of the two that tied (but not the invalid pictures), then a tie breaker poll would be in order. I don't see why there's a need to go through this again, when SVX did the right thing.

I don't quite know how this was done in the past. I think the second choices didn't count.
But, if you ask me, if you have the second choice of those two persons, I think, as Lucas said, it shouldn't inflict in the final vote, since those two shots shouldn't be there at all.
It would be unfair if, let's say, if only Irons stated his vote.
So in a certain matter, I think it's fair that the Elise wins.

But then again, this adds questions. If Irons and Tankuroded had an opportunity to second vote, shouldn't the other voters had a chance to vote again in a tie break?

Not exactly, since they are not voting again, but rather making their vote count, since their first one was worth nothing. The pictures they voted for were illegal, and in the remote case one of those pictures had gotten the most votes, it wouldn't be the winner.

If they said it before the 9/8 results? The Elise. Afterwards? The Elise, too. BUT, if they were restricted to vote for one of the two, then the correct thing to do would be to go into a tie breaker poll, because their votes are made decisive, and everyone's votes should be equal.

Seems like SVX will make a tie breaker. Perfectly good, I suppose. If someone reads this, however, is worth noting that if the results are different than the one proposed here (Elise winning), the original "winner" may be pissed, but in reality, it's a fair matter in that the winner will continue to be chosed by the people. However, when people who voted for one car vote for the other one, things may get nasty.

Yes, I know. I was not saying that. I was only saying that I would found unfair, if, since there were two votes that were not counted, not having those two voted in a "qualified" entry.

Just to add to the discussion:
I don't think a tie breaker poll is necessary. Had the two invalid shots not been in the poll, I would assume Irons and tankuroded would have voted for the shots they specified instead. Like nothing ever happened.
