UNABLE TO GET A RACE ENTRY TO THE FIA GT SERIES TONIGHT? Q U E S T I O N ?

Good day all - I participated in the first FIA race of the evening - in Alsace Village. On the second lap I was in number 9th. position - clean race except a few guy's in front of me bumping each other purposely. Came to corner no. seven on the downhill slope - the car in front of me slid out and hit another car which made them crash out and became "ghost cars" - then I was in long fast right-hand turn quite a few crashes - same thing- they all got "ghost car" while I drove through - for whatever reason the whole field in front of me crashed out - si I was in the lead. I thought something went wrong - but decided to continue as no messages to slow down or anything. 10 more seconds racing I got a message to disconnect from internet. I did - restarted my computer checked the internet connection - all fine. Went back on to see if possible to participate in next race - but no. Anyone can explain that for me please? Thanks for your time!

Even if you’re disconnected it counts as an entry. You can only enter each FIA event once. Sucks but that how it goes. It’s happened to me several times.

Thanks TL! I was not disconnected - I was told to disconnect? Anyhow - life goes on . :) - Can I add one more question TL - I see the bars green/yellow/light brown red and all black - what is that?

The bars are latency/ping indicators to the GT server.

When you see all the other cars on track just peel off in a sraight line, you’ve lost connection to the server.
 
something that helps connections that are weak is to try and hardline connect your PS4 to the modem because wifi connection can sometimes be too weak and increase chance of disconnect

Yes you can only participate once per day. And it is ok like this. Otherwise People would simply cut off the cable when not in a good Position to try it again later. Such Things are always necessary to avoid the cheaters. Sad but true. Good Luck on Thursday ;).
