Unable to get decent lap times with GR.3

I can get quite good lap times with GR.4, GR.2, GR.1, often 1-2 slower lap times than top 10 times. But with GR.3 I can't even manage to get 2 seconds. Usually 3-4 or more seconds slower than top 10 times, but why is that? Is someone experiencing it too? Also, I use a controller, with only ABS on.
 
For Gr3 driving the proper line will get you up to 2s off the top 10. The last 2 seconds is mostly in confidence exiting corners, pushing past the limit of grip but maintaining control.
