Unable to Install GT5 DLC

Hi there,
New to these Forums but have been an avid GT5 player for the past year or so. I live in Canada, but visit my parents in Kenya every summer. My GT5 disc and PS3 system were both purchased here in Kenya but my PSN account registered in Canada as I was using my PSP at the time.

I've tried to download and install some of the free DLC for GT5 from the PSN store like the 2013 Corvette Stingray's and the Scion FR-S. I used PSN to download the DLCs, the screen reads activating and then installing. However, when I attempt to install the DLC from GT5 itself, it says there is no purchased content found. I am unable to purchase the vehicles from the dealerships as the game tells me the DLC is not found.

Could someone please tell me what I should do in order to rectify this? I'm not even sure how to contact Sony Support as they do not list Kenya on their website. It's driving me mad as I would eventually like to invest in some of the course and car packs but would rather not have my money taken in return for nothing.

I think you can't change it.

But you can always create new account and download those free DLC with it and try if it work on your main account too 👍

Understood, will try that. Will I have to restart from scratch? I would hate to lose my progress so far, especially since I grinded out 30 odd A spec levels with no seasonals due to lack of internet connectivity here in Africa.
