Unable to see own status update on the main forum page that has another user's tag.

Like it says on the tin: what's going on?

Is it something on the fine print I haven't noticed, or an issue solely on my part, maybe?
Or is this one of your schemes to get some users to go Premium? Ohh! Ohh hhoo! You tricksters! Just joking.

When you tag a user, post the message, and then go back in edit mode to view the message, you'll notice that there are added characters to ID the tagged individual's profile and name. If these extra characters force the message to be over the 140 character limit for status updates then it will not appear on the home page, but will still show up on your profile.

I'm not 100% sure this is the reason why that happens but I am fairly confident as I've worked around it on multiple occasions.
