unable to select/read from "i" icon/news feed

Howdy ya'll...just finished up my first session and loving this game so far. I'm probably just being bone-headed but there's this little "i" icon on the bottom-left of the main map view that has scrolling items like a news feed that says stuff like "Known Issues (Date)" and other announcements, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to select and read it. Is this some kind of bug or glitch? (Oh the irony of ironies if you can't select/read the "Known Issues" because of a "known issue.") ha!

Hit circle and it will take you back to the actual start screen, where the articles are listed along the bottom you can select and read.

Consider the one on the map more of a ticker.

Yup, it's a bit counter-intuitive but you have to go back to the "main menu" and you'll find the news there
