Unable to Start a New Thread in GT5 Section

Hey mods,
For some reason when I try to start a new thread in the GT5 section I get this-

"Missed_the_Apex, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

I hit the new thread button in the GT5P section and it went to the regular "Post New Thread" dealy, so not sure what's going on.

Hello and welcome to GTPlanet! You won't be able to create a new thread in the GT5 forum until after you make your first 100 posts.
 
...which is NOT an excuse to try making 100 posts as quickly as possible. 👍

Oooh. This is why there is a lack of locked threads in the GT5 section.

Maybe you should put that info in the sub-forum description Jordan. A few people have made threads here in Site Feedback wondering why they can't post and I guess you Mods must get a fair few more PM's.
 
Finally some effort to clean the GROWING of the GT5 forum. I got 300 something so I'm gonna make all the threads I want (just kidding, I would never over-post.)
 
I see, makes perfect sense. I figured it had to do with something like that, but didn't seem to see it posted anywhere.

@duke- I promise not to post a sentence comprised of 20 one word posts, haha
