Unavailable Manufacturer Events (Maybe a daft question!!)

Hi

My first post!

I have tried searching for this both on the forum and Google but not found anything.

I have the Japanese version of GT5-Prologue, I have 52 cars in my garage, completed all C, B, A and S Class Events with Bronze or better (32 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze) and have gold in about half of the manufacturer events.

For reasons I can't determine, I cannot access the Manufacturer events for Acura, Aston Martin, Citroen, Dodge, Jaguar, Lancia, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Subaru or any of the tuned companies (Mines etc.).

The icon is there but not selectable, including for manufacturers where I have bought all their cars.

Is this normal?

Thanks. It seemed odd to me that the icon would be there but not be able to select it but if its the same for everyone, thats OK! :)

In that case, it looks like all I have to do is upgrade a few bronze and silver events and start saving for the F2007 and Citroen GT!

Hi and welcome.
Before Spec III we used to have 70 cars and the F1, then came Spec III which brought us Evora, California and GT by Citroen. So if you complete the game in terms of a full garage you should get to 74 different cars. Happy hunting!
