If this is true then..... WOOOHOOO!! 👍

Hope your right.

But this happens a lot in racegames. Dev's making the models while negotiating with the car manufactures. Just to find out that they may not use the cars a few months before release.
It could be a possibility that NFS:Shift did have Ferrari's in the Beta/Alpha versions but they removed them because of licensing problems.

This is most probably from "Ferrari Project" - SMS' previous unreleased sim.

Hope they will use this Ferraris for some of the upcoming DLCs, though.

The mc 12 is in the game, but you can only use it in the quickrace mode. (scroll to the right)

Ontopic: before they even think about adding cars as dlc, they should rise up the garage's capacity!

No. Before the even think about adding cars as DLC, they should fix all the BUGS.

Once there was a comment that was removed later that hinted a possible Ferrari DLC, but very vague.

I would prefer a separate release of "Ferrari Project" as a less NfS inspired game.

Remember pro street? People looked around the program files and found references to the veyron, s2000 and the other cars. Then they half ass released them.

Hoping and praying ... that they don't falsely advertise! They said the booster pack wuld give 12 new cars or whatever, and it only gave 2 for free and they sucked.

That game was just awful now i think about it ... but shift is alot better.

What's Ferrari's position on damage? As far as I know they sustain damage (of sorts) in Forza and GT5. But I'm pretty sure Ferrari's do not allow parts to be added to their cars; wings and side skirts etc.

They do, they only allow race mods though(as far as I have seen in racing games with customization and Ferrari's). This is pretty much the same with BMW.
