Introducing the United Rallycross League on PC. Founded at a time when a major rallycross league for this game is almost nonexistent, URXL aims to bring drivers from a variety of different backgrounds together to take part in an intense form of motorsport. At the moment, we have five drivers who will take part of the inaugural season.
Below is our race calendar for the first season which may change depending on the availability of the drivers. A start time for each event will be decided as the entry list grows overtime.
PROVISIONAL RACE CALENDAR (final to be announced soon):
August 7th: Lydden Hill
August 14th: Wildcrest
August 21st: Hockenheimring
August 28th: DirtFish Rally School (Pro Rallycross course)
Our race format is as follows:
Four Rounds of Qualifying Heats: For grids with 12 or less drivers, we will split into two groups through a random seed. Grids with more than 12 will be split into 3 or more groups. The goal is to set the fastest time possible in the heat to secure a position in the semifinal where it will comprise of the top 12 drivers. Championship points will be awarded by the end of the Qualifying Heats (breakdown of points to come soon).
Semifinals: The top three finishers in each of the two races will advance into the Final. The bottom three will be eliminated and won’t go any further into the event.
Final: 8 laps. The driver who finishes first in this race is declared the Event Winner.
Since an option for heat races is not available, an Online Championship for each part of the event will be created (Qualifying Heats, Semifinals, Final) so that the finishing order is recognized for the next races.
