I highly doubt that this will be implimented into GT4, but why not have several parts, like tires, (and even soem engine parts) be shared between cars that can use them, tires should be bought by the size so that you could buy a set of racing slicks and share them between a few cars (that they fit of coasre)

Also to me it seems like i should be able to share parts beteen my cars that could sharte them in real life (yes this would take tons and tons of time to program into the game, and to reasearch, probably more agrivating to people to figure out what is sharteable.) But it just seems like it would bemore realistic, and save a lot of my GT Money
 
Right now, it is too late to say, "GT4 should have..." or "I want GT4 to have...." The game is pretty much done. A few more weeks and we will be playing it every day after work, school, or whatever you guys do. I don't mean to make you feel bad, but I think it's time to let go of the "I want," and "It should have," subjects. Leave the game the way it is. Polyphony knows what they are doing. GT has been very successful in every game that has come out, and we can guarantee an awesome outcome for this installment of the GT series. But it's not a bad idea. Maybe it should be used in the next GT in the series.
 
I think the origonal GT had something like this. once you bought an upgrade part for a car if you bought another of the same car you could go strait to the settings menu equip that part to the new car. you could have it on both cars at the same time actualy. its not exactly the same I know, but since we are in the, fingers crossed, "I hope PD thought of that" phase of development, it's atleast reason to belive that it's not the last thing on PD's mind.
 
Well to go with the realistic aspect. Although a turbo for instance may be able to be in sevral cars the plumbing parts to hook it to the car are gonna be diffrent depending on the car and cost money. So unless it is tires (and they happen to have the same dimensions) not many parts can be switched between cars without some investment in money.

in reality Tires/Wheels are the only part that people may/will switch from one car to another, but i dont see any other part that people will do that very often.
i know it will save us a lot of credit to upgrade the cars like in Kaido series, but somehow i think it doesn't make sense in reality.

can you change body kits? or put body kits on car in GT4. or say but a wing from on car and put it on another car?

You can put on bodys kits and wings on gt4? As far as I new GT4 dosn't do that.
