So id like to start practicing with the 355 and have only recently got SCC, i was curious if someone could tell me how you unlock it? Thanks

I'm pretty sure you have to win specific races to unlock it, but unfortunately I can't remember which ones they are.

However there is an easy way I found to practice with cars you have yet to unlock in single player mode:

Go to online -> Set up an online race,
Choose the car you want (the F355 Challenge car in this case) and whatever track & settings you want,
Under advanced options set the number of private slots to 'all',
and hey presto you've got yourself a private practice session!👍

EDIT: Just had a quick look on the internet and apparently you need to collect 30,000 Race Points to unlock it.

Actually, yes, this is true and it's something I hadn't considered for newcomers. The 355 Challenge is one of the last cars you 'unlock' because you would generally need to complete nearly the entire challenge mode to earn 30,000 race points. But you have 4 weeks until the start of the first 355 race so it should be plenty of time.

:) And forces them to have a lot of pratice before joining:scared:👍

I had a go in the 512 S yesterday in the challenge mode.
The AI seems to be unable to control this car and is all over the place, which makes it fairly easy to earn many RP in no time :)
After a few races with this car I decided to change car, because it felt almost like cheating ;) .
Of course if you want your 30000 RP in a quick way this might be the way to go, but I like it more the hard way.

The AI's (in)competence changes from car to car. Generally what I found is that:

a) AIs are very bad in high grip high-powered cars

b) AIS are bad in high grip average powered cars

c) AIs are decent in low-grip road cars;

d) AIs are good in low-grip high powered cars (like the Veyron or both SLRs)

I'm very found of the 250 Testarossa classic. It's challenging to drive and the AI is pretty decent with it.
