Okay. Here is a unoffical Drift Challenge....
Anyone can enter.
Judges:

YOUR VIDEO MUST HAVE ALL THE GAUGES AND LAP TIME
When you are ready to submit,PM me with the link to your video, and with the format of Name Car, Lap Time.
Cars: Doesnt matter
Settings and Parts: Doesnt matter
Track: Deep Forest
Scoring is based on:
Style(out of10)
Angle(out of 10)
Control(out of 10)
NO CATEGORIES OR DIVIONS
All entries must be sent to me before August 13,2004 10a.m. western(cuz i want to have results posted before i have to go to school)

this sucks that nobody entered, when i know at least someone wanted to have a contest
 
I've just one thing to say : You can't drift in GT2.
 
I mean , you can't do it good as in GT3 ;)
 
It's certainly easier and more realistic in Gt3. it can be done to a limited degree in Gt2, but really long very sideways drifts are a lot harder to acheive.
 
you guys are seriously wrong.... i have been playing GT2... with the right suspension setting, LSD, and so on... you can drift like crazy.. i have a few images of R34 GT-R drifting, AE86 Trueno, 200SX Type-X, many others.. it is not only the car has to be set... but what track you drive on. i will post a few suspension settings for most cars i have drifted in... mostly Japanese cars and some american muscle...
 
but dont get me wrong GT3 is awesome for drifting.. its almost like the real ting
 
there was 1 simple style he forgot to mention.....
and that is what line is taken during the drift...
 
Those links are broken and I'd like to see what good drifting is like. (I suck.) Are those videos available elsewhere now?

Dude, I realize that and that's why I was asking for other links. Never mind.
 
For the guy who said u cant drift in GT2..........u definatley can, y do u think on the arcade mode CD u can choose either racing or drift.......u probly just dont kno how to drift
