A couple cars in GT are very unrealistic and make the game much less fun. For example the Escudo. It is the fastest car in the game by far and has no competition with top speed because it can do the wheelie trick. Anybody with 1,000,000 credits can just buy one of these and not worry about tuning or strategy. This makes the top speed challenge pointless.
 
yup, and it turns on a dime too....

yea but the only place where you can do the wheelie is on the Test course...so the other tracks you actually have to tune it...and make it turn on a dime.....
 
why would you want to drive the escudo for fun anyway? take the 787B for a spin if you want a fun car :cool:
 
yup. If you take the escudo because you really want to win something, you are in trouble dude. Take the escudo for a race against the Gt1 or the 390Racer and the 787 B and try to win that... but the high speed challenge? if you did that, just sell yer game then

The Escudo is more of a Test Course/Super Speedway car. The best car for all the tight courses is without a doubt the 787B.
 
I think the best car for twisty roads is the Polyphony 001 Sandstorm :p ;) Wouldn't you agree with that? :p

Then don't use it... Problem solved.. The game is only as hard as you make it .... If it was too hard (read: 100% realistic) I think a lot of ppl would've just quit the game. Instead they made the game so you can make it as hard (or easy) as you like....

I like using the F1 for everything...that's even faster :) :p
 
That means i also like my F1, and i was not at all dissing the 787b. I quite like it too, and my only negative for it is that it only has 5 gears. :banghead:
 
And you NEED to go fast :-) You have a lot of catching up to do on account of your mem.card :trouble:
