Playstation Lifestyle
A horror title, you play as 7 different characters and must play as each in turn, trying to keep them alive until dawn. It features all the elements you'd expect from the thriller movie genre, and is, of course, set in a spooky cabin.

PlayStation Move controls allow anyone to pick up and play, and allows you to control a torch, a gun and more.

We've been working on this game for a while now, working with Hollywood writers and US TV talent, doing our best to bring the Teen Horror experience to PlayStation. Inspired by classic movies in the genre, we expect that Until Dawn will draw you in with its characters, killer dialogue and shocking, twisted story.

On the anniversary of their friends disappearance, a group of classmates visit the site of the mystery to bury their ghosts and get some closure. Little do they know, they'll end up burying each other instead.

It's Teen Horror so obviously it's isolated, the powers out and the phones don't work! You'll play through the story as multiple characters, sometimes with a friend and sometimes on your own to discover who it is that's intent on killing off you and your friends. It's up to you how you play, so we don't know how your story will go or who'll be there with you at the end.

To play the game you'll use the PS Move controller in a totally natural way. It'll act as your flashlight, guiding your way through the darkness, or when you want to use something the controller will intuitively map your actions in the real world to those of your characters hand in the game world.

Anyone else getting a very strong Alan Wake vibe from this?

The graphics look reasonable but certainly not current gen, but this is understandable as it was originally under development for PS3.

I'm gonna do a stream of this when I get it tomorrow. Very very excited!

Is it really that good? I might buy it soon

Finished my first playthrough today. I really liked it. It uses the established cliches and stereoptypes of horror/slasher movies, and innovates on it my making it interactive. The dialogue varies in quality, and the sound mix soetimes has trouble with dialogue being drowned out by other noises. But overall, I really liked the game. Definately recommend it.

I can't wait to do another playthrough.

It's only half price in the January sale on PS Store at the moment, for anyone interested in the digital download version.

I love these cinematic butterfly effect type games & don't mind horror films, so I'm tempted to but it.
