Unusual/frankly rubbish cars we'd like to see in Gt5 for making gr8 sleepers!

As i have mentioned on other wishlist threads, I hope that in GT5, there will be some of the really rubbish cars, i'e those utter junkheaps, that are generally joked about! Because i think, if there are enough tuning parts, they would make great sleepers:-

1970s BL stuff:-
Morris MArina 1800TC '76
Morris Ital 2.0HL '81
Austin Allegro Equipe '79

Eastern European POS:-

Anyone else got any ideas, or am i just mad? lol
 
it's not that i dont like the cars, i just thought that if they were in the game, they could be turned into good sleeper cars if tuned proper.
 
Hey Elstro .. you do realize your signature is eight lines over the six line limit right?

Signature FAQs and Guidelines

I normally don't say anything about these things, but a fourteen line signature is overkill. Find a way to compress it to six lines please.

Back OT:

Sleeper cars are nice, but I would rather spend that money on a car that I don't have to tune to an insane level just to see it not get blown away. I wouldn't mind if they were in the game, but more than likely I wouldn't use them.

If you can quiet down the Cavalier via multiple mufflers that would be a great example, otherwise the exhaust saying *potato/potato/potato/potato/potato* and the whole car rocking back and forth kindof gives away a tuned V-8 ;)
Since turbochargers quiet the exhaust anyway, how about a twin-turbo Chevy Cavalier? 👍
 
Or a Hyundai Tiburon with 2 engines like the one that was in Sport Compact Car's Ultimate Street Car Challenge a few years back.

Back on track:
How about the Dodge Omni?
 
The Dodge Omni GLH would kick ass. After that, It wouldn't be a sleeper anymore.

A Lotus Sunbeam, also.

How about a Daihatsu Charade GTTi? Or a turbo RWD Toyota Starlet? We need more crappy looking cars that can kick ass!

The thing is that the AI wouldn't be fooled.
There would only be an advantage if we could use them online against other humans.

But they would still be fun.

Ah yes, Dodge's version of the "Rabbit" as it may be said. Originally Dodge was going to name the Omni the Coyote because Coyotes eat Rabbits.

The GLH was one kick-ass car, I give them that. Similarly, the Rabbits and Sciroccos that Reeves Callaway tuned before he got into doing GM products like the Camaro, Firebird and Corvette. Not that the tuner VWs are sleepers, but their showroom stock counterparts could be.

How about a 1980s 4-door diesel Rabbit that has a nice lightweight VR6 underhood?

I used to do the same thing with my uncle...back in jamaica. But i moved up here and he moved to england. But he promised that he wouldnt sell it...so wen i get my license and i go back i can start some more work on the car heheh cant wait!!!!!! :dopey: :)
