Sorry if it's already mentioned but I'd thought I'd share it with you guys. If you notice right at the entrance of the pit lane (where the red arrow pointing left is) there is a small white US-style sign. It says "SPEED LIMIT 60". When you go in the pit lane however the auto-drive goes at 80kph/49.7mph. So technically you are speeding in the pit lane. How odd:odd:

Anyone else find something like this?

If the sign is in MPH than you are going below the speed limit at 49 MPH.

I havn't pit in Trial Mountain since GT2... or was it GT1?

It must mean then that Trial Mountain lies in the United Kingdom or the United States!

Aha! Thats one track location mystery solved! 15 some more to go! XD

Trial mountain is in Scotland (ness monster) so it is in KP/H

Can you post a photomode pic of this sign please?

Didn't realise they had Monkeys in the wild in Scotland??

Why not load the game and have a look. 👍

Because I don't carry my PS3 around everywhere I go so I can turn it on whenever I feel fit.

Sounds Interesting, will have a look when I get home.👍

Just checked this out. The sign says "SPEED LIMIT 60 KM/H".

You go down pit lane at 50MPH (80 KM/H) so yeah... Anytime you're on Trial Mountain's pit lane, you're speeding.

While you're at Trial Mountain, Look for the monkey in the dead tree that hangs over the entrance to turn 6...

was it trial mountain that had the 'nessie' easter egg?

Yup. You can see it in the lake, to the left of the two fishermen when coming down the hill before one of the final turns.

Just cos there's something in the lake doesn't mean it's Scotland. Besides, Scotland doesn't have monkeys. It's just fictional. Don't try to place it.

Sorry I'm Australian and use K/ph but I'm sure I've seen stuff in Scotland (I went on Holiday there) in kph

Nah mate, everything is in MPH in Britain. Some roads in the Highlands struggle to fit cars onto them in both directions and have 60mph limits, maybe that threw you because they are very small and on top of that very dangerous at those speeds. I personally find them bloody good fun

Yet, you assume the OP does by asking him to post a pic.

👍

I would figure he would be somewhere around his PS3 when he posted the OP because you can't go through the pits at Trial Mountain and see a speed limit sign when you are not on even playing PS3.

PHP:
Are you suggesting that the Lock Ness monster comes from africa?

Well why not? You all are suggesting a fictional track is in some country, so why not suggest a fictional monster is in some other country?

And are you suggesting the lock nest monster migrates? Or carries coconuts? (you will get this if you have seen Monty Python's Holy Grail.

How could a loch ness monster carry try COHCAHNUTS? It hasn't even got any hands!

Trial Mountain has not changed since ive been playing GT, so how has this gone unnoticed for so long?

I'm not trying to ruin the Scotland lies in Africa and uses kilometers, but i swear i saw a Italian boat in the lake.
