I was wondering...when can you call yourself a "drifter" on GT3?
Like i can drift every course except test course, super speedway, and still working on special stage RT 11. I dont spin out very often, I would have to say i spin once every 3 laps.( depending on the course) But really can i call myself a drifter since i still spin every now and then?

If this makes no sense to you dont bother answering:lol:

It is all about learning, The man who makes no mistakes, does nothing. Or something like that. If you want to really be reconigsed as a drifter, post a vid.

Everyone must spin from time to time.. Well thats what i think.. If you call yourself a drifter i think you are a drifter. (=

/Eddie.

When you push the car to the limit, you spin more often eh? So if you never spin, you're either the yoda of drifting or you're just not on the limit. As said before, in D1 races you see spins quite often, cause you have to show some really nasty moves to win.

I supose i consider my self a drifter but im not that great so i am really a novice drifter but im still practising.

BTW how big is the drift bible?

HOLY BEJEEBUS!! well i dont think i'll be getting that. thats 3x my download limit for the month.

-I am a drifter, but I can't post vids cause I don't have equipment.

I say that screw other people, you are a drifter when you drift. If you can take a car around a turn with a slip angle, and usually control it, then I consider you a drifter even if you can't show us it. I drift, do I drift well? usually.

The point I'm trying to make is, who cares about other people's thoughts... If you can control a car while drifting, I consider you a drifter.

I think the only thing that makes a drifter is someone who seeks to better their drifting skill. As long as you're not doing it just for image to be famous or anything, as long as your motives are true, then you are a drifter, even if you can't drift good at all.
