Hi All,
It may have happened to some of you allready but in case not, here is a word of warning.
It has happened to me on several occasions that i have entered an on-line room that promised racing but was instead populated by the Moron-Class 'Players'.
It appears that their sole aim is to inflict as much damage on your ride as possible.
Needless to say i vacated the room asap but the repair cost after having 3 cars crash into my SLS AMG was horrific. (Mulsanne straigt, me 340kph, them coming the other way)
If thats what these fools want to do they should advertise this.
I for one think that these guys should possibly be named and shamed on this site so genuine racers are forewarned and can avoid skyhigh repair costs.
Any thoughts ?

You don´t have to repair or change oil after playing online. It simply does not wear down after playing online. It even doesnt add the miles driven online.

Yup, why would you pay to get something fixed that isn't even damaged? The body rigidity and engine refurb are NOT for repairing damage, as no accumulative damage exists in the game.

You don't need to do the reworks nor oil changes after racing online either because it just doesn't wear down your engine nor add miles to your total miles driven (as Glutinous said above).

It's funny there are still loads of people paying ridiculous chassis repair costs every time they get in a crash. HAHAHA!!!

Enought with the damage issue now, we get the point.

I agree with OP. When I go online, it is to race. Not to play bumper car or some sick version of GT5 blended in with Mario Kart and Burnout.
A shame list would be great. So we know who to stay away from. Should also include corners cutters and people who take the various shortcuts.

Why dont you guys arrange races with people from the site instead of going into random rooms?

Have you even tried online racing?
My room gets filled within 2 minutes. Now if we could add a password, it would all be so much easier.

Okay, fine, my bad, you don't have to pay repair costs.
My point still is: if you want to play demolition derby say so in your room comment, don't waste my time. Besides, if that's what gets you off you're in the wrong game.

Yes Ive tried online... Just last night I did a 20 lapper in hot hatches with a 14 person lounge with people from GTP... And it was stable and great fun.... You just have to make sure youre in a room with people you know and kick anyone you dont want in...

Now thats how it should be! I guess I will join yours if I see them from now on. 👍

Yeah, online you'll typically find a buckload of punks killing their -and others- time in the process ruining any good will you may have for a fair race. What a losers!

I am German, we don't have a sense of humor, it's a genetic thing:)

I am Greek, we hardly have any sense of obligation, yet we joke all the time. Trade?
