I'll update it when more becomes available.

Did you really have to do this??? It's making my current lack of Speed Channel all the more painful! Although the university did send out a survey that included a portion asking which channel you would like to see added to the lineup.

:(

You mean you don't get to watch speed channel? And yeah, after being bombarded with prodominently NASCAR programming, I think its about time the More exciting stuff came along.

Nope...startling considering my current location, I know. However, this is the school's TV package and not the one available to the general public. But, I'll be back home in six and a half weeks, so hopefully they'll still be running this stuff.

Haha, getting the V8 Supercars just a bit late, I was at that round back in March.

But atleast you get a TV channel dedicated to Motorsport, even if they do show some events a long time after they were held.

I wish MotorsTV (Europe's version of Speed) would show some of the Monterey Historics stuff rather than the re-runs of the extra dull 'Ford XR Challenge' that they seem to show over and over again this time of year.

Get me the times for any kind of drifting or rally competitions... but good job on these, they're pretty good.

And I thought the Repetitive NASCAR Programing Along with BS shows like Unique Whips Were dull. I'm wouldn't think that channel of all things would do that since they usually seem to show alot more Race related programing then Speed does(at least thats what I see on Youtube)

Hell yeah!!! TiVo for the win!! :). Thanks, RACECAR 👍.
Hey, Long time no speak friend. And your welcome:tup:

You can blame all the NASCAR programming on the lack of recent success of other forms of motorsport in the United States

SPEED is going to show programs that will get the ratings and money. Right now that's NASCAR.

Openwheel racing in America dealt themselves the deathblow by splitting. Both series are inept. Champ Car struggles to get 15 cars on the grid and is cancelling race after race. The IRL has drivers that have no business on the racetrack but are racing only because of the sponsors they bring or can attract. ALMS is still very young and has it's own struggles to deal wtih, like the real possibilities of the LMP1 and GT1 classes dissappearing alltogether. The closest challenger to the LMP1 Audis are the LMP2 Porsches, and the only Challenge to the GT1 Corvettes are...the GT1 Corvettes.

Because of that and the loss of the United States Grand Prix I and most American Motorport fans care very little about anything other then NASCAR.

Because of that NASCAR dominates SPEED's programming. Even as a NASCAR fan I'd rather see less NASCAR programming but what is SPEED to do? Show live 6 hour LMES races from a far away land at an odd time of day?

Expect SPEEDTV to be NASCARTV until other motorsports step up their game

All that good stuff listed above is while I'm at work. But you can bet when I get home in the evening I'll get plenty of "Monster Jam" "Pinks" and "Superbikes". Shows that really pander to motorsport's lowest common denominators: Smoke, Crashes, and Exploding Motors. Plus, people who speak a simpler form of the English language.

Actually, you can blame News corp. for buying up SpeedTV and ruining it.
