Update 1.05 Problem

HI THERE

I am having a SERIOUS problem after 1.05 update...the game doesn't start anymore! On the XMB I select Gran Turismo 5 and then the screen gets black and everything stops working, even the PS button in the controller doesn't work.
I erased the Game Data Utility for GT5 and nothing happened, disabled the internet connection and nothing happened either.
Any ideas? Please help! Haven't seen the awesome features included in this update.

So, nobody knows about anything to fix this?
 
Does the Game Data Utility include the patches? That's all I can think of. Try cleaning the disc?
 
Considering it's just you. I would say it's a problem with your disc or PS3.
 
I think is weird since yesterday was working properly, it just happened just after I updated to 1.05...
 
Back up your game save, delete the game data, then try loading GT5. You'll have to let it reinstall and update again, but hopefully that will fix your problem.

Edit: Didn't see that you already did that. You can try backing up the game save and delete everything, including your game save to see if it's the game itself or the save was corrupted.
 
I am having problems where mine will freeze. Tried reinstalling and am just now finding out if it works or not.
 
Thanks guys, but nothing yet...The worst part is that when I try to back up my saved data, says something like "not allowed to copy" or something like that...this is not being cool.
@ MMeglen, let me know the results of your actions...I am afraid that in the last of the cases, I will have to restore to factory settings, what will not be cool for sure...hopefully something can be done
 
I think I am officially screwed...now my PS3 doesn't even starts so...have to get it fixed like NOW!
