update 1.11 finish line freeze?

hello i just got up and put gt5 on and a new update has come out which i had to download to play the game. i did a B spec race and as the car went over the finish line the game froze. just wandered if this was anything to do with the new update so thought i better post incase it happens to anyone else. if anyone can shed any light on this i'd be greatful - Neil
 
its done it for a while now :) what does it do does it literally freeze or do you just continue going round the track without the finish times coming up? :)
 
This isn't to do with the update because it has happened to people before the update. There are a few things that could cause this, custom soundtracks, dirty disk, corrupt install, blu-ray drive dying and a slow internet connection are just some of the possible causes.
