I read what is posted here in the forum about them:
"The New Car Refresh can be used from the Special Coupons option in the items list, and will return your car to its brand new condition (before breaking-in the car’s engine). Equipped parts and current paint on the car will not be affected by this card."

Who knows exactly the purpose of them?

I treid to use one but the only change I see is to reset the Km!
I thought it would have removed engine mods or weight reduction.
Isn't it the same (or almost) to do engine overhaul?

What are they for, then?
Just to reset a car bought from OCD (with kms) and bring it to 0 for 0/0/0 collectors?

It will reset to zero miles, and BHP to as new not broken in and also keep all added components and setups. It wont go back to 0.0.0. I did one of mine and it still shows how many changes and wins it has, lookd funny with 0.0 miles.

Basically for those vehicles you've driven enough for the performance to permanently degrade. So you will get it at a like new state with its original 0km performance.

Kind of nice for rare cars that you like to drive. I know for any cars I can get rather easily, I'll just buy another one to build. Wanna save up those coupons for the cars I will probably only ever get less then 3 of and sometimes only one. Just wonder if we'll be able to get more of these coupons in the future.

I'm guessing that the restoration coupons willbe available as prizes for getting all gold in future seasonal events? Just a guess though...

Fresh back on GT5. Are these tradeable or giftable? Havnt tried yet.

Tnx for the info
@mark: I'm referring to those cars that i bought from OCD showing 0 changes, 0 wins, but lot of kms... with these tickets one can have his 0/0/0

So basically I don't see any other purpose, don't you?

@kwakaman: not tradable

Good point I never thought of it that way. Although ive used up 2 to return 2 cars i have hammered distance wise.

It seems to me that you can only apply them to the car you're currently using - which would give you a 1/0/0 car at best (since it doesn't reset changes). Does anyone know of a way to use the tickets on a car you're not in?

Why cannot people read all the posts Doh, 7 posts up its quite clear what happens, i will say it again.

Several switch's and even funnier with several wins all showing no miles/kms.

I plan on using mine on cars straight out of the UCD for just that purpose. If the best you can get is a 1/0/0 car then while I'm in the car being botoxed I'll give them new paint and rims at the same time as I see fit...

Those brand new condition cards are stupid...
They would have been of use, when they made the car 0/0/0.

I can see the use when you buy a UCD car and make it 0/0/0, because it changes the Kms/miles to 0, but
In my opinion how PD had to have made it, is the card only to use on a car which has 0 switches OR/AND 0 wins ! It looks dumb when a car has 150 wins and 0 kms... :/
That would have been a cool card! ;)

Actually their pretty useful, when you consider using them on very expensive or very rare cars for for example, F10,F2007,X1 proto,Mclaren F1 GTR, Lambo Muria,Ford Mark IV, basically any car over 10 million credits or very rare to find, I don't care for the 0/0/0 thing but 20 million for a new Red bull X1 2011 prototype is a heart breaker

Agree my X2010 Prototype already got like 20,000 km on it.(Been using it for B-Spec endurance.) Haven't used the car in a long time, but just wanting to refresh it back to its original state. Just to make it look nice when I put it up online.

I also totally agree with G24. My X2011 and F10 needed those tickets months ago.
