I've stumbled upon a few new improvements in the NTSC version you PAL gamers might like.

  • Ford SVT Lightning now FR
  • Changeable Units (MPH, KPH, HP, etc.)
  • All the "PAL cars" shown a few days ago are in fact in the NTSC version as well
  • Favorites list of up to 30 cars in Arcade mode
  • Auto-Save either always on or only enabled when you switch cars

Anybody else notice something?

Yes, I noticed this 950 posts-thread that talks about the same subject. Check post #1, you'll find yours and much much more information.

Yes it would be very appreciated, if you could put things that are different from NTSC in your 1st post thanks.

If all the PAL cars are in the NTSC version, where the heck do I check out the Auto Union?

In the german->audi->classics section

Where else would you look? that's what the AU in AUDI is for!

"Audi" is derived from the latin word "audio", which means "I listen". AU stands for "Auto Union" and has nothing to do with the word "Audi".

I have one question:

Are the physics the same in GT4P and GT4?

many people have said that they need to get used to the new physics, and i play GT4P right now and i like it, are they the same?

The physics in GT4P are very different to the physics in GT4. Feeling-wise GT4P is somewhere between GT3 and GT4. And I must say the physics in GT4 feel very good. If you plan to practise with Prologue - don't do it! You will have to get used to GT4 then just like you would play GT3, it won't make a difference if you play Prologue priorly.

"Audi" is derived from the latin word "audio", which means "I listen". AU stands for "Auto Union" and has nothing to do with the word "Audi".

Just to follow that up, Audi was founded by a man named Horch. His previous company - Horch - had been taken over by shareholders who then kicked him out. Horch (well, Horchen really) means "to listen" and Horch took the Latin translation of that for his new company.

Audi's badge derives from the fact that it, with three other companies, formed Auto Union.
