My internet at home is horribly slow, at work it is pretty good. Can I download the lastest update file online, put it on a thumbdrive and update it that way? Also, how do I check in GT5 what is the version I have installed?
That's screwed up. I have tried for three days to update through my slow ass home connection, it gets to 20-30% then stops somehow. My PS3 is trying to download the GT5 2.0 updates, over 1 gig, takes forever!!!

To check the version of your software, press the "Manual" button at the bottom of the main menu screen. The version number will be located on the upper left of the index page in this manual.
If the number starts with "Ver. 2.04", you are playing the latest version of the game.
Um.....when I was unable to download it from my PS3 due to slow connection, I downloaded it from my PC, put it in a USB and selected "update via device" or what it says I dont remember.....
