ok i sold my xbox and bought a ps3 because gt5 is on the horizon (fingers crossed) so i bought gtp and when i try and play it comes up with a message that an update is available but when i try and download the update it gets halfway through and then says update fail, the thing is i really wanted to play online but i cant because i need the update. an ideas anyone?

Connect your ps3 to your internet with a wire, the update should download fine after that

^^ If that doesn't work disconnect your PS3 completely from all networks before you turn it on to play and it shouldn't be able to detect any available updates so you can play using the old version.
