Hello all, I return to this forum after years for a sad reason 
I just picked up GT6 the other day and I've been playing non-stop, making good progress. I've been playing on 1.00 as to avoid the 19 updates and I've also heard there are problems if you do all of them at once so I just left it.
Just got though international A, have a nice collection of cars, I wanted to take a break so I updated up to 1.06 and launched the game to avoid problems, and voila! All of my progress is gone! Not a good feeling. I have the Honda Fit in the color I chose when starting, and that's it. My game save is still on my system and did not get overwritten after I started the updates, so it should work.
Anyone ever run into this issue or heard of a fix? Would be great not to start all over!

EDIT: Went into stats to see what is says, so it shows that I have completed 2 races in Novice with the Honda Fit, so for longest total distance, most wins, etc it SAYS Honda Fit but shows my Ferrari 458 I was driving before the updates ruined it all lol. So yeah needless to say I'm confused, GT6 is confused, and I don't know know what to do!
