I was reading about the suspension being reversed in some settings such as ride height. I was wondrring if there has been an update to fix this issue or should I tune backwards?

Ps I bought the game when it came out but for some circumstances beyond my control I had to stop playing 6 mo ths after. Recently just got back to playing GT5.

No you don't have to tune backwards. Normal way. The updates involved with the suspension, pretty much updated with correct stats, also affected the way the cars handle with different settings (in a good way).
