haha my autocross celica turns into a rice rocket?

Im not really into bodykits but my friend in japan gave me a good deal on the TRD mechanical body kit for the celica. I think its a bit ricey but it does make the car look alot better than stock. Let me know what you guys think.

Ive been to toyota dealerships, and they have celicas out of the box lookin like that.

It needs bronze wheels, now. 👍 I don't like that kit one bit when it's on a lighter colored car, but in black, it's not that bad.
 
yeah some bronze te-37s or even 5zigen fnr01cs would do fine hehe.
 
I saw a Celica at Nazareth Speedway with the action package, a light blue color, looked pretty decent.

I've also liked the post-2002 Celica with the slightly restyled front end for the grill better then the original design.

Yes, lowering should be next on the agenda. It looks slightly retarded like it is now, get it lowered with some nice wheels and it'd get a 👍.

Body kits move you into a higher class, doesn't it? Is it a dealer option or something done at the factory? According to NASIOC, if it's a dealer option, you need to reclassify yourself, if it can come from the factory that way, its all good. I like the way it looks, it's much more agressive, but not something I would want for an autocrossing car.
 
I thnik that is nice, which is unusual because i dont really like the new celica's. Don't make it anymore ricey, keep it like that except for obvious stuff like rims etc. But as Cobraboy said, lower it and get some new rims and then its a 👍
 
looks very nice and clean. Any other colour and it would look like ****...but this is nice 👍. I don't know why, but I have a feeling glossy black or just dark silver rims would look amazing on there.

Oh, and don't add anyting else to it - it's perfect...for a celica

Nice, I've always liked the new Celica even the driver seat screams cockpit! Black is always the best for a car, then you get some black chrome or maybe brown rims and it's perfect. I've seen some other bodykits for this car that are pretty sick and it doesn't look ricey. I saw one celica with exhaust out the back too. I'd post pics if I could.

oo well action package celicas are actually classified under factory parts.

i think celicas are classified like celica gt, celica gt-s, celica gt w/action package, and celica gt-s w/action package.

so yeah, it wouldn't move me into a tougher class, i had to take that into consideration before putting on the kit. :)

also the car is already dropped 1.25 inches with the TRD suspension kit. I dont reallly wanna go lower since it wont improve my performance and it'll wear down the shocks quicker. Getting some rims are a good idea tho.

Ya sorry for that. I like the car but it needs some wider front and rear wheels/tires. Very cool tho.

If you are interested in really hooking your Celica up I have a few contacts I can introduce you to. These are there cars. Yeah they are riced out, but when it comes to Celicas these boys know their stuff.

i think the kit is mad. it just has to hav bigger wheels and u should lower it a bit
