I have both a Fanatec GT2 with CS Pedals and also a Thrustmaster T500RS & F1 wheel and pedal combo.

Enjoy both but something that has been improved with the CSR & Elite is the paddles. Is there something that can be done to upgrade the internals of the GT2 for better shift/click..

Obviously the GT2 and CSR work off the same base so there must be some internals that can be upgraded ?

Thanks...

After using my friends paddles on his g27, it made me realize how crappy my GT2 one's are. I've wondered this myself.

Thanks Mars.. Looked at your slide show and exactly what I was after.

Can you recommend the size spring you used ?

Thanks..

Unfortunately I have not measured the spring (and don't have the time to re open the wheel), I found the size empirically.
Somewhere there must be the remains (if not threw them) of the spring that I cut. I’ll search for them and let you know, (if I’ll find them).
However, you can calculate (approximately) the size of the spring from the photos.
I would say that it should be about 0.9cm x 3cm (approx.). But! Watch out! The length depends on the stiffness of the spring. A softer spring must be longer to do the same job.

Update:
I found it! It's more like 0,65cm width and soft enough so you can press it (but not too easy!) by 2 fingers.
