stupid question, but it can be done can't it?

just about to buy a new pc, but the one i'm getting has onboard graphics....

which will do for me as i don't really play games on here, but i might get back into GPL once i have a new pc, lol.....

would i be able to install a graphics card onto it in the future?

Yes you will. It would make more sense to buy a PC that has a graphics card in it already though.

Anyway, make sure the computer you're getting actually has a graphics card slot so that you physically will be able to. I'd suggest getting a computer that has a PCI-Express graphics card slot and not an AGP slot. This is for many reasons, but mainly because PCI-E cards are cheaper than AGP ones, so you will be able to get a better card for less money which is always useful when you're getting a cheap card as an upgrade to onboard gfx.
