OK, I've got my favorite car in the game,
Yellow Bird, and I want to put this body on it:911 GT3. OR more realistically, put the a stock RGT into the 911 body.
Can anyone give me a step by step method, or possibly point me in the right direction to find the directions?

I've had a love of the 911 since I knew what they were. I'm hoping to suit one up to run in the game.

Thanks

AO

Ok I don't know how you intend to build this machine, coding or through MK's so I will post a few ways.
I have basiclly built a fully upgraded RGT and used the Speed Yellow 911 body over it. I can't leave it stock or you will never be able to upgrade it more than that, since there are almost no parts for the 911 in the game. But all the parts used are from the RGT. Even the chassis. The chassis for the RGT is too short, and the chassis for the 911 is too long, but when swapped between each other I think they fit properly. Personally I would use a lighter chassis for the 911 in the 2300mm range, but I believe you want a realistic version.

Here is the notepad information to import into MK's for your reference:

I will also give you relevant GS2 coding:

if you have a RGT in the first slot of your garage and put these codes in over it:

CarBase 1C041350 - EDDDADD2 1C041354 - E8A0CAE0

BodyColor 1C041358 - 1456EAC2 1C04135C - 1456E7A8

body & downforce 1C0413C8 - 079C88F5 1C0413CC - 9B648CC7

Then check your garage to see your new 911 in place of the rgt.

If you already have the 911 in the first slot in your garage then skip the first 3 codes and go on to these:
I would suggest that you put them in individually to avoid massive potential problems later.

carType 1C041360 - 1456E7A5 1C041364 - 1456E7A5

Ahhh.. Thanks guys. I am using a sharkport and MK's. The ini file will do nicely. Once I've got that in there I can work from there.

THanks!! I'll have to try out the CTR2 chassis as well.

I'll post it up when I'm done.

Hello everyone, I'm a long time lurker-first time poster (I've been making use of that handy search feature)

It may be a little late for this, but for future reference you can put the 911 onto a stock rgt easily. Put the 911 into your garage, then press f6. When the menu comes up, find the rgt and click the checkbox at the bottom that says "base only". By doing this, you have a fully tune-able 911 (or any other car for that matter).

Hope this helps

actualy i think Mr.Chaos, anthonysinatra, Famine, Heydu and I got into a discussion about that, i think the RGT is actualy the frame they use. So basicly your replacing it with the same frame. On another note, You will find the last gear in your GT3 is the reverse gear, a way to take care of that is to find the gear in the .ini and turn it into a positive (or negative) depending on what it says already.

Basiclly you are just referring to a body swap. A simple form of hybriding. Don't forget to select the color you want after the carbase only swap.
The cars most of the hybrid builders make here are customized with parts from many cars intentionally. Every part on my 911 is hand picked by me, is fully adjustable and can be tuned in game.
The simple body swap is fine of you just want a 911 in your garage, but the serious hybriders would miss out on the art of creating a one of a kind machine.
