Ok I searched for threads on this but didn't find any so here:

All I want to be able to do is put pictures up on this website. I'm signed up to www.uploadit.com, however when I tried to upload ia picture it said it was too big.

What's the deal? How do I resize the images to fit?

Just go into MSPaint. Then go EDIT select all. Simple.

That just moves the whole picture around...How do I make it the requirments for uploading?

Oh sorry, can't help you there.
 
Save it as a JPEG.
 
The size limit for uploadit.org is 200k and the files must be JPEG.
 
Yeah, like all good free things, Uploadit turned commerical. 👎
 
Okay, here's how. I'll use SlowView, a freeware image tool you can download here.

So I have a picture that's too big to upload:
1.jpg


The first thing I'm going to do is resize, making the picture smaller:
2.jpg


After I resize to deminsions I want, I'll save it and compress it. I'll save as a .jpg, because it's small:
3.jpg

4.jpg


After I select the file format I'll want to select the options button and change the quality:
5.jpg


After that I just save, and it should be small enough. If it isn't, just go back and change things like the quality.;)
