It appears that Sony may indeed be considering a US release of it's GT4-Prologue Edition. While PD was non-committal, it was revealed that they have not ruled out a US release of the scaled back GT4 preview. You can check out the story for yourself here.
As I have said before, it would make no sense for PD to exclude the lucrative American market in this endeavor. The profits to be made from an American Prologue release would be significant. My prediction is that Prologue WILL be released in America, probably in early Q1 of 2004. You can probably expect a European release as well.
As far as the full version of GT4 is concerned, PD is sticking to a Japanese release of Jan. 6, 2004(As is detailed here ), while a US release date has yet to be determined. I would expect it to be released anywhere from March to as late as July, 2004. Of course, if there is a US version of Prologue released, expect the delay of the full GT4 to grow.
