US v UK and the ASpec, MA70 Supra Hard-Tuned tips

I tried the Hard-Tuned Championship with a MA70 Supra today, and I won every race except the one in Grand Valley. I lost to the Supra RZ there. My car is fully-tuned though (except RM), so I guess you can still win even though it's not fully-tuned. The car surprisingly understeered far worse than oversteers. The nose just wants to plough straight ahead, I think the understeer is even worse than a Lantis. I had to set the springs to min front max rear to make it turn decent enough. Aside from that it's a pretty uneventful championship, I take extreme care not to spin out because I'm sure the turbo lag will kill me.
 
I wonder if the extreme turbo lag modeled in [size=+1]GT1[/size] has something to do with Initial D? Setting a car up with a turbo big enough to cause totally debilitating lag when starting from stop sounds like a cartoonish thing.
 
I'm not sure about that, Initial D have never shown extreme turbo lag like in GT1 during any of its races.
